Our Story
Bright Vision Abled Tech is a mission-driven, 100% disability-owned small business that bridges the gap between elite engineering and authentic lived experience.

The company is led by the unique partnership of Jerry Yang, an 18-year-old vision-impaired bone marrow transplant survivor and co-author of the inspiring book "Faith over Fear: Poetry and Arts by Two Siblings with Cancer", and Dr. Siyang Yang, a UC Berkeley PhD, Shell VP Award recipient and senior software engineer and ISC2-certified IT expert with over 20 years of experience.
Leveraging Dr. Yang’s background as a senior software engineer and team leader for global corporations and government agencies like the DOE and DTRA, the firm specializes in high-stakes Digital Accessibility, and IT Compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (which applies to federal agencies).
Dr. Yang is also a long-term Ambassadors for National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and MD Anderson. The goal of us is to ensure that digital infrastructure is not only legally compliant but truly inclusive for all.
